She started driving at 21. Today, Joann Marie is 41, with 20 years on the road, more than one million miles behind her and a burgundy 2019 Kenworth T680 named Rosalinda under her hands. On Channel 19, she is the host at the center of the signal: experienced, observant and never interested in pretending the road is simpler than it is.
The driving is only half of it. She writes her own songs and sings them, plays acoustic and electric, and can hold a story long enough to carry a night shift. Twenty years married to Earl, and still the first voice a lot of drivers hear after midnight.

Twenty years, one truck, and her name in gold on the door.
A 2019 Kenworth T680 in wine red. Burgundy and cream inside, roses stitched into the seats, a Cobra 29 glowing amber on Channel 19. Joann named her, and she has not driven anything the same way since.
